About HT Calculator
An unofficial, player-made set of calculators for Harvest Town - built because planning a season shouldn’t need a spreadsheet.
Why this site exists
Harvest Town hides its economy in dozens of wiki tables. When we wanted to answer “what do I plant next week?”, we were copying numbers into a spreadsheet every season. So we built the tool we wanted: every crop, animal, fish and gift in one place, with the math visible and every assumption editable.
Who makes it
HT Calculator is maintained by a small team of Harvest Town players who build web tools for a living. We’re fans, not a company: no investor, no growth team. Pages are authored by the team and reviewed by a second player before publication - see the methodology page for the editorial process.
How it’s built
- Static pages, fast tools. The site is generated with Astro; every page is server-rendered HTML, and the calculators run plain JavaScript in your browser.
- Data pipeline. Game values are extracted from the community wiki, checked against each item’s detail page, and compiled into typed data files with the verification date stamped on every page.
- Open about gaps. Where the wiki lacks a number, we show “?” and let you enter your own - we never invent values.
How the site is funded
It isn’t, currently - hosting costs are paid out of pocket and there are no ads. If that ever changes, the disclosure will appear here and on affected pages before any ad ships.

HT Calculator is an unofficial fan tool. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by AVIDGamers or Dataverse Co., Limited. Harvest Town and its assets belong to their respective owners; item icons and NPC portraits are used for identification with credit to the Harvest Town Wiki. If you represent the rights holder and want anything changed, contact us and we’ll act promptly.
